MINOTAURS IN MISSOULA

In 2003 I went on a road trip up to Wausau, Wisconsin for a Genetic's demo with BJ Morrill, Hurvey Haskins and Dave Chelminiak. After a super fun skate session that followed the demo, we ended up getting down with some tall boy's of brew and headed straight to the party at the local ripper's den. We ended up raging and crashing out at our homie David Biesel's place for the night. Good times were had and needless to say, Dave and I became instant drinking buddies. Right off the bat we put our creative geniuses together and formed this idea about starting a skate zine called "THE LOCAL SLUT." Such a great idea, yet it unfortunately never saw the light of day.

Dave lives out in Bozeman now and has been skating non-stop while perfecting his artistic vision behind the lens. Heres a little video he threw together of a skate session at the Missoula park. I'm always stoked to see old friends still ripping and having fun. ENJOY...

I was going through an old black book the other night and totally forgot that my homie Navy8 hit it up when he was over a little while back. Its crazy to think back at his stuff from over a decade ago, when he was first getting into it and to see how much he has progressed over the years. I'm stoked that he hung on on never gave up. Por Vida brother.

B.J. Morrill / New pro Model

Heres some photos that my homie B.J. sent over. Dude's been killing it consistently for a long ass time. Go out to WSVT in San Diego and you can witness the carnage first hand because he'll most likely be there catching a session. I've known B.J. for almost 10 years now and I'm stoked that I get to finally design the art for his 2nd pro model for Sacrifice Skates. Seems like we have been throwing graphic ideas back and forth for the last decade working at seedy bars and shitty liquor stores together. Enjoy the pics and look for a new pro model dropping in the early Spring.

Uber rare Rodney Mullen Street Model from 1990

I just put this super rare World Industries deck up on Ebay. I’ve been holding on to this
for many years but with funds being low and a ramp being built, I have decided to let her go.

Its got a little wear and tear but the graphic is pretty much intact with a couple minor scuffs.
